Total Diet Replacement (TDR): when used as a total diet replacement Optifast provides adequate amounts of all essential nutrients for the day (4 sachets/day). It is important to maintain an adequate fluid intake. We recommend drinking 2 litres per day.
CAUTION: If used as TDR, it should not be used for more than 3 weeks without medical advice. Only suitable for adults, and not suitable for pregnant or lactating women, unless otherwise indicated by a healthcare professional. Store in a cool dry place. All prepared products should be tightly covered and consumed within 6 hours at room temperature or within 24 hours if refrigerated. Discard any unfinished heated product. Packaged in a protective atmosphere.

The banana shakes taste just like a normal milkshake, they are not too sweet, unlike some other makes, so you do not tend to get fed up with them. You only have to add 200 ml of water in order to make them up, and they mix really well. If you use very cold water they seem to thicken up and taste even better. In an ideal world, they would be a longer drink as 200 ml doesn't go very far, but I am extremely pleased with them and the number of calories in them. Weight loss has been so much easier using these shakes, I do not suffer from hunger pangs and taken alongside a healthy diet has meant I have been able to carry on with exercising and working whilst losing weight. This is the best weight loss shake I have tried.

The banana shake tastes exactly like a …. well, a banana milkshake!! It’s deliciously sweet, smooth, and took me right back to my childhood. A good flavour, would definitely buy again.
