There’s nothing more comforting than a warm bowl of soup, and thanks to the tasty range of OPTIFAST Soups, you can enjoy a delicious bowl of soup at any time of year while on your weight loss journey.

Soups are just one of our meal replacement products, alongside OPTIFAST Shakes, OPTIFAST Bars and OPTIFAST Desserts.

Our OPTIFAST Soups come as a dried powder that you prepare using hot water. If you’re not used to preparing soup in this way, we’ve put together this guide on how best to prepare and get the most from them.

About OPTIFAST Soups

The OPTIFAST Soups come in three different flavours: Tomato, Vegetable and Potato & Leek, giving you several options for a hot and satisfying meal at any time of day.

The OPTIFAST Soups are high in protein and contain 28 different vitamins and minerals, which provide your body with the essential nutrients it needs to stay healthy throughout your weight loss journey.

Top Tips for Preparing OPTIFAST Soups

Our OPTIFAST Soups are high in protein content, which can help you to feel full for longer. However, it also means that you may end up with a few clumps when you prepare your soup.

To make sure your soup is smooth and delicious, we recommend using water that has been boiled and cooled to around 60°C – this will make it easier for the powder to dissolve. If you want your soup a little warmer, you can simply heat it in the microwave for 30 to 60 seconds.

Another tip for preventing lumps from forming is using a hand whisk to mix the soup and water.

How to Customise Your OPTIFAST Soup

When you’ve been following a weight loss plan for a long period of time, eating the same thing day after day can get boring. To keep your diet interesting and to stay motivated, it’s helpful to incorporate as much variety as possible.

With the OPTIFAST Soups, it’s easy to customise them; you can add a pinch of your favourite spice, such as black pepper, cumin or garlic powder to give it that extra kick or a small portion of non-starchy vegetables, such as some cooked spinach or steamed vegetables. Just remember to factor in the extra calories to your total daily intake.
