Breakfast Oven Omelette Recipe
Whether you’re calculating your daily calorie intake to stay on track with your weight loss plan, or simply looking for a tasty breakfast to enjoy – look no further than this recipe!
Packed with fresh vegetables, this super easy to make omelette makes a hearty dish that will serve your whole family.
- 5 large egg whites
- 3 large eggs
- 120 ml skimmed milk
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp pepper
- 120 g chopped fresh broccoli
- 1 medium tomato seeded and chopped
- 1 finely chopped onion
Preheat the oven to 175°C (gas mark 4 for a gas oven, or 160°C for a fan oven)
In a bowl, beat the egg whites, eggs, milk, seasoned salt and pepper
Pour into a greased 8-inch cast-iron or an ovenproof skillet
Sprinkle with the broccoli, tomato and onion
Put the skillet into the oven and bake uncovered for 30-35 minutes until the eggs are almost set, and the top is lightly browned
Take out the skillet from the oven, slice into pieces, and enjoy!
